Why are Davidoff cigars considered a luxury standard?
Davidoff is world-renowned for consistency. Only 1 out of 10 seeds is typically deemed worthy, and tobacco is aged for at least four years, resulting in an incredibly smooth, refined smoking experience.

What is the difference between Habanos and other premium cigars?
Habanos is a Protected Designation of Origin reserved for cigars handmade in Cuba. While other regions offer incredible quality, Habanos are prized for their unique, soil-driven 'terroir' and centuries of heritage.

How should I properly store my premium cigars?
To preserve delicate oils, store cigars in a seasoned humidor at 65%–70% relative humidity and 18°C–21°C. At The Slow Draw, we vacuum-pack shipments to maintain these peak conditions.

Should I remove the cellophane wrapper in my humidor?
Leaving the cellophane on protects cigars from physical damage and 'flavor bleeding.' However, removing it allows for better airflow and faster aging—a preference for many long-term aficionados.

What does the 'Ring Gauge' mean for my smoke?
The ring gauge is the diameter in 64ths of an inch. Thinner cigars (like Lanceros) have more wrapper-to-filler ratio for intense flavor, while thicker gauges offer a cooler, high-volume draw.

How can I tell if a cigar is too dry?
Perform the 'pinch test': gently squeeze the cigar. It should feel firm but springy. If it crackles or feels brittle, it is dry; if it feels soft or damp, it is over-humidified.

Do you sell to anyone?
No. We only sell to verified buyers who are 18 years of age or older, as required by COTPA.

We verify your ID before purchase and again at delivery. Government-issued ID is mandatory.
