The White Series is the cigar that launched Cavalier Genève, blender Sebastien Decoppet’s first attempt at a mild to medium smoke with real complexity. The Medio is its compact, wide format, a 3 1/2″ × 58 that packs a full ring gauge into a short length.
The blend pairs a Habano wrapper with a Honduran Connecticut-seed binder and a filler drawn from the Dominican Republic, Nicaragua and a pinch of Paraguayan leaf, which lends the cigar its distinctive aromatics. As with all Cavalier cigars, each carries the brand’s signature square of 24-karat gold leaf.
For a mild-medium cigar, there is a surprising amount going on. Lemon zest and cedar lead, with a natural sweetness and creaminess underneath and a gentle spice through the finish. The short, wide format delivers a cool, generous smoke in under an hour.
Handmade in Honduras. A box of twelve, well suited to a smoker who wants complexity without a heavy body, in a format that does not demand a long sitting.
