The San Lotano Requiem Connecticut is the gentlest expression of AJ Fernandez’s celebrated San Lotano line, and for many it is the most versatile. Wrapped in a silky, pale Ecuadorian Connecticut leaf, the Robusto offers the balance and refinement that has made this blend a consistent recommendation for daytime smoking.
Beneath the smooth wrapper sits a Honduran Criollo binder and a filler of Dominican and Nicaraguan leaf. The construction is clean, the draw open, and the smoke cool and even. It is a cigar built for composure rather than intensity.
Flavours open with cream and toasted almond, moving through gentle cedar and a soft citrus brightness, with a light white and black pepper note on the finish. It sits comfortably in the medium range, approachable without being bland.
