Crafted Details
The Last Call Habano Corticas is AJ Fernandez’s answer to a simple question: what do you smoke when the evening is nearly over but you are not quite ready to put it down. The Last Call line was built around premium leaf left over from AJ Fernandez’s larger blends, rolled into short vitolas that deliver full flavour in less time. The Corticas, at a compact 4″ × 52, is the shortest and most direct expression of that idea.
Despite its size, this is not a light cigar. The Ecuadorian Habano Rosado wrapper gives it a reddish sheen and a sweet, spicy character, while the all-Nicaraguan binder and filler carry weight and depth. The draw is open, the burn dependable, and the smoke arrives quickly and generously.
Flavours lead with cedar and baking spice, moving through a peppery middle into a soft, creamy finish. It is a medium to full smoke that respects your time without cutting corners on flavour.
Handmade in Estelí, Nicaragua. Sourced and stored with care before dispatch through The Slow Draw.
Frequently Asked
Common Questions
Why Is The Last Call So Short?
The Last Call Line Was Designed As A Quick But Complete Smoke For The End Of An Evening, Or Any Moment When You Want Full Flavour Without A Full Hour. The Corticas Is The Shortest Vitola In The Range At 4 Inches.
Is This Suitable For A Beginner?
No. The Corticas Uses The Same Premium Tobacco As AJ Fernandez's Larger Blends. The Shorter Length Simply Concentrates The Experience Into A 30 To 40 Minute Smoke Rather Than An Hour.
