The Reserva Cosecha is Romeo y Julieta’s most distinguished production tier — a limited release in which the tobacco is drawn from a specific, identified harvest year and subjected to extended ageing before production. The 2019 Cosecha represents tobacco grown in that season, aged and selected by Habanos S.A. master blenders, and rolled with the additional care that a reserve designation demands.

The Short Churchills vitola — 4 3/8″ × 50 — is the brand’s most accessible full format: compact enough for a 50-minute session, substantial enough at 50 ring gauge to deliver the blend’s full character. In the Reserva Cosecha presentation, each cigar is sealed in its own tube, protecting the reserve-quality tobacco and presenting beautifully.

The Cosecha ageing process mellows the natural pepper and spice of the Romeo y Julieta blend while deepening the honey and dried fruit notes. The 2019 crop year is particularly well regarded within the Habanos collector community. The result is a more composed, rounded version of the Short Churchills than the standard production — cedar and honey in the opening, dried fig and raisin through the mid-section, and a warm, spiced close.
